Skyjack Boom Lifts Nova Scotia

Skyjack Boom Lifts Nova Scotia

Skyjack began to manufacture scissor lift platforms back in the year 1986. The company continued to produce their product throughout the 1990s, becoming a world leader in the aerial lift business. Eventually, Skyjack grew to more than 30 percent market share overall. Even now, the company maintains their dominance as an important player who has rapidly adapted to the changing face of the industrial equipment business.

Factors such as their commitment to reliability and quality have been important to Skyjacks solid reputation. They are recognized worldwide as being the manufacturer of the best scissor lifts in the globe. The Skyjack product line is manufactured and sold all over the world.

Skyjack was acquired by Linamar Corporation, LNR on the TSX in August 2002. Linamar is known for being a top manufacturer of assemblies, modules and precision-machined parts. Linamar's solid balance sheet provides Skyjack with long-term stability and increased strength overall. Skyjack presently has production facilities in Hungary, the US and Nova Scotia with support offices within Europe and Asia.

The company has lots of self-propelled scissor lifts in its lineup, with models that can work at heights up to 56ft. Skyjack became a leader within the industry by providing machine features which combined durability, serviceability, service and quality, making Skyjack scissor lifts known all around the world for product reliability. The current Boom lift model lineup of the company consists of telescopic booms. These models offer telescopic booms that feature work heights varying from 45 to 71 feet. The company has plans to further expand the boom lift product line in the future.

The purchase of Volvo's Material Handling Equipment business in August the year 2007 complements the products obtained in the purchase of Carelift Equipment. These acquisitions have enhanced Skyjack's Telehandler product offering in both the VR series telehandlers and the Boom Zoom series. These acquisitions provide the company an opportunity to grow with the additional manufacturing capacity. Skyjack continues to lead the way in the industry, providing reliable lift solutions.
