Employers are responsible for making certain that all workers who are utilizing the forklift are properly trained in safety and risks. Never let anybody on a forklift who isn't properly trained to operate the forklift. Your business must develop and post in a visible location all forklift safety measures.
Rather than going through training because workers are required to, they should have a positive attitude in doing so. You as the employer must help employees understand the importance of correct training. Let them know that they could kill or injure not only themselves, but other people, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to ensure that your workers go through training seriously.
